Brunch Boards


I love the new Brunch Board trend. It’s really fun and easy to create a curated brunch that is perfect for only one or two, or for a group. Arrange all your goodies on a board with your prettiest dishes and carry it to the table in one trip.


We have put together some fun brunch board ideas. Try some of ours or be creative and come up with your own combinations. If you see an asterisk next to a selection, the recipe is below.

Pancake Boards

Hard Boiled Eggs, peeled and cut in half, Mini Halladay’s Harvest Barn Buttermilk Pancakes*, sausage and/or crisply cooked bacon, Maple Butter*, maple syrup, Cinnamon Sweet Rolls*, raspberries, melons, and grapes


Healthy Breakfast Board

Dilly Scrambled Eggs*, Fruit Parfaits*, English muffins, assorted jams, Canadian bacon


French Toast Board

French toast, Pumpkin Butter*, Maple Whipped Cream*, bacon, toasted Pop Tarts, fresh strawberries & blueberries, and grapes


Bagel Board

Hard boiled eggs, peeled and sliced in half, toasted assorted bagels, smoked salmon, prosciutto, Garlic Chive Cream Cheese*, Salted Caramel Cream Cheese*, fresh cantaloupe cut in wedges.

Breakfast Butter Board

Maple Butter*, pancetta or bacon, toast or English muffins, Garlic Chive Cream Cheese*, hard boiled eggs, peeled and cut in half, waffles, grapes, apple and orange slices





Cinnamon Sweet Rolls

⅓ cup sugar

1 tsp. of cinnamon

½ cup brown sugar

4 Tbsp. butter, melted

1 package Halladay's Harvest Barn Vermont Beer Bread Classic Mix

1 (12 oz.) can or bottle beer or club soda

½ cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)


Preheat oven to 350ĖšF. Combine sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Combine brown sugar and butter; also set aside. Lightly grease an 8-inch round cake pan. Mix beer bread with beer or soda. Scoop about a ¼ cup of batter with your hands and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture. Place on prepared pan and continue until all the dough is used up. Pour brown sugar and butter mixture on rolls. Sprinkle with nuts, if desired. Bake for about 35 minutes. Cool slightly, pull apart and serve.


Buttermilk Pancakes


1 egg

2 Tbsp. Butter, melted or oil

1 cup buttermilk, or 1 cup milk mixed with 1 Tbsp. Vinegar or lemon juice

1 ½ cups Halladay's Harvest Barn Buttermilk Pancake Mix

Consider some fun add-ins: coconut flakes, chocolate chips, blueberries with some finely grated lemon zest


Whisk together egg, butter and buttermilk until foamy. Add pancake mix and blend until most of the lumps are gone; let sit 2-5 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat a frying pan or griddle over medium-high heat. Brush pan lightly with oil or spray with non-stick cooking spray. Drop about ¼ cup of batter onto pan. Flip pancake over once bubbles have risen to the surface and cook the second side until golden.



Fruit Parfait

1 package Halladay's Harvest Barn Cheesecake Mix of choice

2 cups plain or flavored Greek yogurt

Fresh fruit and/or chopped nuts


Combine cheesecake mix with yogurt. Layer alternately fresh fruit and mixture into dessert glasses. Top with fruit or chopped nuts.


Dilly Scrambled Eggs

3 eggs

3 egg whites

1 Tbsp Halladay's Harvest Barn Dilly Herb or Spicy Garlic Dill Seasoning

2 Tbsp water

½ tsp salt

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese, optional

Toppings, if desired


Whisk together all ingredients until light and fluffy. Pour into lightly greased skillet and cook on low heat, scrambling, until cooked through. Fold in the shredded cheddar at the end, if desired.


Maple Butter

1 stick butter, softened

1 to 2 Tbsp Halladay’s Harvest Barn Maple Cheesecake Mix or 1 Tbsp real maple syrup

Combine softened butter and Maple Cheesecake mix or maple syrup, whip until well blended.


Pumpkin Butter
1 stick butter, softened

1 to 2 Tbsp Halladay’s Harvest Barn Pumpkin Cheesecake Mix

Combine softened butter and Pumpkin Cheesecake mix, whip until well blended.


Maple Whipped Cream

1 pint whipping cream, well chilled

1 to 2 Tbsp Halladay’s Harvest Barn Maple Cheesecake Mix

Whip the chilled whipping cream until soft peaks form, then add in Halladay’s Maple Cheesecake Mix and whip until mixture is well combined and stiff peaks form.


Garlic Chive Cream Cheese

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 Tbsp Halladay’s Harvest Barn Garlic Chive Dip & Seasoning Blend

Whip both ingredients until fluffy and well combined.


Salted Caramel Cream Cheese

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 to 2 Tbsp Halladay’s Harvest Barn Sea Salted Caramel Cheesecake Mix

Whip both ingredients until fluffy and well combined.
